I think it would be a good idea to let the user choose to automatically apply ANY operations on the Image that doesn't require a selection but acts on the whole image.
This is true for automatic cropping and rotating, too.
In the editor these operations might be undone to allow easy handling of exceptions.

Agree with this ticket request. Automatic feature of border, and shading (should be separate) would be very useful. I add this manually to every screenshot I take.

I love your program and great implementation!
One thing I do a lot, after taking a screen capture (region), I go to the effects menu (magic wand) and choose border and drop shadow. This gives a nice professional look when I later paste it into an email or Word doc. I do this process about 95% of the time for a quality image that stands out.
It'd be nice if there was a way to apply the effects when the image is created/opened in the Greenshot image editor automatically. A bonus would be to then copy this completed image (w/ border and drop shadow) immediately back to the Windows clipboard.
