Sending Screen Capture via Email

Description

After capturing an image, GreenShot opens it in the image editor. From there, I can click the Email button at the top to send the image as an attachment to an email recipient. My two problems are:

1) When the new message opens, my email signature is not there; I have to insert this manually. I would like to to come up automatically. I have ensured that my settings (Outlook 2010) are correct, and that the signature is there when manually creating a new message, replying to a message, and when clicking on a web link such as .

2) When the new message opens, all of my formatting options (font, font size, justification, etc) are disabled. The message indicates that it is being formatted as HTML, but the features are still disabled. I have tired changing to Plain Text, to Rich Text, and back to HTML again with not change. Additionally, I have tested with the steps above and am consistently able to format the text.

I do not see any settings in the preferences menu to alter this behavior, but if I am missing something, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Manually closing some "pending" items, as the system obviously failed to auto-close after 14 days.

PS: Please try the latest release candidate, you can find it at http://getgreenshot.org/version-history/

Please let us know if you have any issues.

I am using GS 0.8.0-0627; I will try your latest RC. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't do that in the first place. I'll let you know what happens.
