Possible to change the capture button to right-click (and hold)?

Description

hi! I was wondering if it was at all possible to change the capture shortcut to right-click (and hold) as it used to be the case for another capture program (SPX Screen capture) as it really saves a huge amount of time being able to forgo the keyboard altogether as I'm often having to make screenshots "on the fly" as it were. I tried through the preferences but it didn't seem to accept any other input than a key.

Thanks for the help!
best regards!

Yes, that is correct, a long (2-3 sec) right click that would "fire" the capture tool with the rectangle tool to define the area. I'm sure people would use it if they were made aware of it, it saves activating greenshot through the "PrtScn" key since one is usually in "viewing" mode when taking screenshots, meaning, mostly active on the mouse than the keyboard. And please do try it out in "SPX Instant Screen Capture", assuming they have a trial/free version so you can see how practical it is Especially since as you confirm its a "simple" event to add as opposed to having to recode the whole application And, it wouldn't replace any existing shortcut since I'm assuming there's currently nothing on that event.

Best regards!

Currently: no this is not possible.

Just so I understand: you want a long right mouse button click to trigger some capture?
And the right click works everywhere, or are you talking about clicking on the Greenshot icon?
I guess you mean a right click just somewhere...

This is technically something I can develop, I'm not sure yet what side effects might happen.
You are the first person requesting this, so I'm not sure yet how many people would benefit from this, it might be something for a better inclusion (for "disabled" people).
