How to stop Greenshot keeping a list of recently saved files?

Description

If you click on the down arrow in "file name" when you're saving a Greenshot pic, it shows a list of recently saved files, even from remote hard drives that aren't even connected.

Surely if I can turn off "recent files" in invasive Win 10, there must be a way to stop Greenshot from archiving my most recent files. I can't see any way to do it in "preferences".

I don't want any program to save anything I do. When Greenshot comes up, it should act like it was just installed, settings aside of course. Thanks.

Hi,

the file dialog you are talking about is standard Windows functionality, we don't store the list of filenames and thus cannot control this behavior without going into the registry and clear lists that don't belong to us... (this would be bad behavior of an application).

I am really sorry, but without writing our own dialog (which is currently out of the scope) we cannot help here.

Best wishes
Robin
