Please try the latest release candidate, you can find it at http://getgreenshot.org/version-history/
There's an option in the settings dialog now, you'll find it in the expert tab.
Thanks and best regards,
Jens

Been awhile, but now we are in the process of releasing our new release.
With the new release we are storing the number in greenshot.ini where you could change it without any problems...
Just download the latest build: http://sourceforge.net/projects/greenshot/files/Greenshot/Greenshot%200.8%20beta/Greenshot-INSTALLER-UNSTABLE-0.8.1.1285.exe/download
Best wishes,
Robin

Hi - I've been using Greenshot(works great!) for a while. I save screen shots as .jpg files. I use the %NUM% counter as part of the filename. I'm now in high six figure range(999,999) and will soon be rolling over to seven digits(1,000,000) on the counter.
Could you tell me how to reset this counter to zero/one again, to start over? I suppose I could uninstall, then reinstall Greenshot, but I'd rather not do that.
Thanks...
