Hi Marc,
no problem, please report back if the issue reoccurs...
Officially Greenshot 1.3 will be the version for Windows 10, unfortunately I just didn't get the time to finish it before the release
P.S.
Will close this jira issue.
Best wishes,
Robin

Hi Robin,
Don’t bother, I've been able to capture the window. Don’t ask me why it didn’t work the first time because I honestly don’t know. You already do a very good job with Greenshot, I love it !
Cheer!

Re: Windows 10 Print Screen window is a checkboard<https://greenshot.atlassian.net/browse/FEATURE-862>
I guess this is a screenshot of the editor?
When the checkboard is visible, this means Greenshot captured something that is transparent... there is no other way to make this clear.
The resulting screenshot, when you export it somewhere, should not have this checkboard.
Still, probably the window should not be transparent? Or is it?
I can't just install TFS just to reproduce it...
There might be some small issues with Windows 10, and I am working on them for Greenshot 1.3, but in general it already worked quite well.
P.S.
As a workaround you might want to change the "window capture mode" to "as displayed" in the settings.
Let me know if this works.
Best wishes,
Robin

We are using Visual Studio 2013 Premium which has TFS (Team Foundation Server) to control sources. In it we do a Check-Out which brings a window. We need to capture this window and the result is what you see on attachment :
Here's what we did try :
1) Reboot PC
2) Print screen in different ways like ALT-PRINT, PRINT only, or take REGION none of these works
