A colleague who is a big fan of Greenshot asked me if there was a way to set up a hotkey in Windows to temporarily reduce the mouse sensitivity so that he could activate it prior to capturing with Greenshot and then restore it afterwards. I showed him the keyboard controls for adjusting the capture area.
It occurred to us that it would be most helpful to have a modifier key to do this. Consider that upon hitting the trigger hotkey, holding down control would reduce the mouse sensitivity. The user then could make their selection, possibly including pressing control again to fine-tune the opposite corner before releasing the mouse button.
Not sure how difficult this would be on Windows and/or other platforms but it seemed like a nice feature suggestion to me. Thanks.
