My implementation of this was just merged, and it’s in pre-release 1.3.116.

Hey, nice idea, thanks for suggesting this
In the meantime, a combination a combination of time and the incrementing number is probably the best bet - one would need to be lucky to guess a filename (at least if guessing manually)

I would love to see a random character filename placeholder in a future version of Greenshot. I've seen this feature in "Shutter" for Linux.
Example:
${RRR} or ${R}${R}${R} prints eg. z3Y.
This would be very useful to me when I don't want people I share images with to be able to find my other screenshot pictures (I'm uploading the images through WinSCP to my domain).
