Office plug-in icons have dissapred. Plugin still works

Description

Hi
In our company we have several users (over 100) Using greenshot.
But 1 user have this issue.
I have tried to uninstall removing regedit files and reinstall. Does not work.
Tried to include the plug-in manually in config file. Does not work.
Tried copy my settings that have it working. Still no success.
Uppdated Office 365 to latest, greenshot is latest.

So simply. The user can no longer se the buttons for Office programs in editing mode.
Can still use settings that when taking a screenshot it sends to a office program instantly.
So it is only in editor it does not work.

Read the FAQ and grenshot webbsite then started serching in here. Found 1 ticket with it. BUG- 2946. But no solutions for it.

So i made this ticket to se if someone else can try to solve this.

Environment

Windows 10 21H2. 1 year old Lenovo computer. Office 365.

Together with the community we found a fix, which will end up in the 1.3 release.

Hi

We have now tested it for a while and seams stable.
No errors in that version yet.
The user that had problem was fixed after reinstalling with new version.
Thanks for all the help

sounds more like Greenshot uses Outlook as a MAPI (Mail API) client, instead of the Outlook API. I know that sounds technical, it means that Greenshot didn't recognize Outlook thus can't use speciaal features, but uses a generic way.

I'm not sure yet what is causing this, and I currently do not have hardware to check this so you unfortunately need to wait at least 2 weeks

I installed version 1.3.270 which does now let me have access to the Windows programs as a destination option but one thing I do not like is if you pick Outlook, it puts the screenshot as an attachment instead of an image pasted into the body of the email. I like to be able to take a screenshot and have it show in the body of the email, not an attachment. If I want to send it as an attachment I would save the photo as an image and then send it that way.
