Drop shadow, torn edge - no longer get options dialog

Description

In older versions I used to get a dialog box when I applied a drop shadow or torn edge. I could adjust the offset for the shadow and choose which edges the tear is applied to. Now it just applies a default with no ability to edit. I need to be able to choose/change what is applied.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. No change. I have uninstalled and used regedit to clear out all references to Greenshot from the Registry. Then reinstalled - still no dialog box.

I don't know what version this changed in.

Environment

Windows 10.

Hey Robin

Thanks for the rapid response. This is a much better implementation - I
can effectively now set my own defaults and have them applied with one
click.

Communicating this better is easy - add it to the help file. For some
reason it does not appear in the list:

I DID actually check the help file before I posted my issue

Your help is much appreciated.

Cheers,

Nigel

I will think about how we communicate this better... another thing for our huge list of todos.

My bad, this was communicated poorly...

We always take the lastly used settings, many users were bothered by the settings window.
If you want to change the settings, right-click the effect (you would normally left-click) and the known settings window appears.

P.S.
Update to 1.2.10, this fixes some bugs.
