It looks potentially related to BUG-1950. I experienced the same thing on the same version as that ticket. I tried the unstable release as well, but with no success.

With Greenshot 1.2.9.84 and later (currently in test, release candidates come soon) most imgur issues are solved. (For now, until they change stuff again).
