Thanks Michel, at least that helps me.
Just so you know... 1.3 is far from being finished, and not tested in details.
I can of course not forbid you to use it, but be aware that you might hit some funny errors.
If this would be the case, install 1.2.9.129 again.
I think I will spend 1.2.9 a small update for the "Picasa" link (not rename it), and for some issues with the embedded explorer (when using Authentication for some services).
Thanks Robin,
Version 1.3 works fine for me.
Maybe you can have a look at the attached version of Greenshot 1.3? This is work in progress, and should not be used on a system where you depend on Greenshot. It should not be a problem to install 1.2.9 to go back, after testing.
The issue is that the url provided by Greenshot when a screen shot is published to Picasa is wrong. The good news is that the actual image is uploaded to Google Photos, but you have to go to your Google Photos account to retrieve the URL. Here is an example of a screenshot I took using Greenshot.
The "Greenshot returned URL is: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/vF4v_Q5xt865jficcnsZs1UKbblU0W_Yk0q7Ie4cS48
while the working URL is: https://photos.google.com/u/0/photo/AF1QipM8POp8A69FDB2ZjxpfHaEeYvKiSuA0NXqnCVss
Hope this will be fixed soon.
Good point, I guess I have been sleeping.
I am working on Greenshot 1.3 (and 2.x) where most of the logic for the cloud solutions is more flexible and better testable.
As I already used Google API's, I guess I will have a look how easy it is...
But it sounds like there is a need for a replacement.

Moving on from Picasa
We’ve decided to retire Picasa in order to focus on a single photo service in Google Photos – a new, smarter photo app that works seamlessly across mobile and the web.
