I do a lot of OCR of the screenshots taken with GreenShot. (I have installed MODI on my PC.)
However, I also insert a lot of screenshot images in my documents (without OCR).
This forces me to toggle the OCR option on/off multiple times in a day. The problem is, Greenshot does not have an easy access to this control.
So each time I have to click on the system tray, find Greenshot there, right-click on it, and then select the Quick Preferences > Destinations > OCR.
This is too tedious.
I know the workaround is to select the destination dynamically. But this means I have to select the destination with each capture; which means more work.
I have two suggestions to avoid this tedium:
1. Provide a configurable toolbar that can be placed somewhere out of the way
(so that the toolbar is not captured in the screenshot).
2. Allow the user to save the entire setting as a "profile", and assign a keyboard shortcut.
That means I can create two profiles: one with OCR and the other without OCR.
Then I can switch between them using the shortcuts.
