Request Summary: If no extension is entered for the filename in the Confluence plugin, automatically append ".png".
Background:
We use Confluence 5.4 and a user was having issues uploading images via Greenshot when we renamed the file to something more descriptive/concise. It would upload and show in attachments but the preview was broken and it inserted into the page as a link instead of the image.
After some testing I determined that it was because the filename originally had a .png extension (didn't see it at first since the filename was so long) and we didn't specify the extension when renaming the file.
While I know the workaround now, it would be nice have the extension added when the user forgets (and this mimics other Windows applications which will automatically supply a default extension).
I can supply more information/screenshots if necessary.
Thank you

Sounds more like a bug, fixed this for Greenshot 1.1.8 (which should be available in a few weeks)
Changed the default behavior, in the textbox the filename is shown WITHOUT extension.
When uploading and there is none, it is added.
Best wishes,
Robin
