I tested the current implementation. I am not really happy with it. I have the problem that i have many OneNote Notebooks with many entries. When i hover over it greenshot tries to load all entries and this takes a lot of time..
I would prefer it to behave like the "OneNote SnippingTool" That would be awesome

Fair enough, I see why you don't want to do that. Hopefully you'll think of another idea.
I'd love to see if you can implement the multiple fly-out idea, now I've been using it properly that's my only real issue with it.

Although "technically" I could delete the keys, it's not something I would like to do.
There might be some disadvantages, I did find some references which still use 1.0
If this really is used, I have no idea... But therefore I don't like to delete the key.
Maybe I can find a better solution...

It seems the 1.0 key is default as part of OneNote :\ I just checked on my Windows 8 VM with OneNote 2013 installed and the key was there.
The only idea I have right now is that if the OneNote extension is selected, delete that key from the registry. Export it as a backup first, and then delete it.

Functionality looks good.
One thing I'd like to change though. When you hover over the OneNote button, you get the flyout with all the notebooks and pages on. The issue is when you have a lot of notebooks and pages, because you end up with something like this: http://i.imgur.com/DBS2WaA.png.
I think it would be better to use more levels of flyout menus instead of one big list. E.G hover over OneNote to get a list of all notebooks. However over notebook to get the sections. Hover over sections to get pages. That would make it a lot easier to find a specific page! If you're not quite sure what I mean, here's a picture of what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/xlOxS1g.png
