Greenshot brightens screen when capturing region (HDR, Ultrawide monitor)

Description

When using a keyboard shortcut to capture a region, while the greenshot region select is up and in the final screenshot the screen is brightened in certain apps (including chrome). This seemed to start happening after one screenshot was taken successfully without the brightening.

I've tried restarting the monitor and computer but the issue keeps coming back.

I'm using this monitor with HDR mode enabled:

I love greenshot but this issue makes it unusable for me.

Figured out that chrome has a setting to force sRGB color profile and that fixed my issue. Wonder if there’s a way to add a checkbox in preferences of greenshot to automatically do that:

As a work-around you might want to disable HDR when you don’t use it.

Greenshot currently doesn’t support HDR, and I’m not sure yet how to solve that without having access to a HDR monitor. Actually… even with one, I’m not sure how to solve this, but at least I could see if what I do also works.
