Creating a screenshot from Windows 10 menu

Description

I was trying to create a screenshot from the menu, like the one in the attachment.
The one in the attachment was created using the Windows Snipping Tool.

When i tried to create a screenshot using Greenshot the menu was shown 'on top' of the selection screen, making it impossible to create such a screenshot using Geenshot.

Environment

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19041.508]
Greenshot 1.2.10 Build 6

I’m curious how you are using Greenshot, somehow I think you are not using the hotkeys. But even when you use the contect menu, this should go away as soon as you start capturing.

So can you please describe in steps what you are doing, so I understand if you are not using Greenshot optimally or if there is a bug.

First i open menu (something like: CTRL+ESC+TAB+TAB+L ), but, in stead of using keyboard i use mouse.

After this i press ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+F12. The crosshair only shows on the Desktop, not wen mouse is over Menu.

Also when taking shot with greenshot the mouse pointer is captured like this:

But i cannot get that done when trying to shoot a piece of the menu…..
