Affects Version: Greenshot-RELEASE-126.96.36.199 which is not listed in "Affects version" above.
I believe that I have given you all pertinent information above in references to my environment.
I have no problem with any other program. I download and use free and open source software very often. I have been using computers since the mid 80s with very little incident. I have no problem with ShareX 12.4.1, simple print screens or a multitude of graphics programs. I edit photographs frequently with numerous software programs.
If you would like any further information, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Windows 10 Home (x64) Version 1809 (build 17763.615) on HP Pavilion Notebook Type1, LAPTOP-3CQRMNMT. Slot 'Bottom-Slot 1(left) ' has 8192 MB, Slot 'Bottom-Slot 2(right)' has 8192 MB. c: (NTFS ) 862.87 GB free, Intel HD Graphics 5500.
Can you explain the problem? Doesn't work is not telling me much... Is there an error? Is there an "G" icon near the clock?
When I click on the Greenshot icon, I only see a plus sign, nothing else, not the program or settings. If I click a second time, it says that Greenshot is already running. That is all I get on my computer, nothing else.
You can start Greenshot only once, and it will run in the background. You can access Greenshot via the small icon in the system tray (near the clock), there should be a small “G” icon when you click on this the menu comes.
Greenshot will respond to the PrntScrn key, but only if there are no other applications running which respond to that key (like ShareX, Dropbox, see here)
Another explanation is this here: https://www.howtogeek.com/139333/greenshot-is-a-free-lightweight-screenshot-utility-with-many-useful-features/
Hope this helps.
