Closing this, the 1.2.8 release will come this week with the imgur fix.

I did not tested 1.2.8.9, but 1.2.8.10 works great thank you for your support

I did change to the Imgur API v3, please have a look if this works for you.
Greenshot 1.2.8.9 and later should work again.

I think that's okay. There's nothing you can do. Better focus on 1.3 version than trying to fix 1.2.x

I just got a reply from Imgur:

There were some security vulnerabilities with older versions of the API and they have been deprecated or disabled.
If you have any problems with api v3 using OAuth 2 let me know.

Nothing more, just that...
I think we need to write a blog post... to inform our users that currently imgur uploads, non anonymous, are not possible...

There is a bug in the Imgur logic, and another chance (to fix the stability of Greenshot) makes this bug even worse.

Anonymous still works but I got the following when I tried to not use anonymous.

Ha ha! Maybe your time would be better spent on getting the next version ready... speaking personally I can get by with anonymous for the time being.
